Billy Duffy Signature Falcon with '70s Baldwin-Era Styling
The G7593T is a signature hollow body Falcon developed in collaboration with Billy Duffy of The Cult, built around the aesthetic and construction details of the Baldwin-era Gretsch guitars of the 1970s. The body is a 17"-wide, 2.75"-deep three-ply laminated maple construction with an arched maple top and back, braced with two parallel spruce tone bars and a sound post. The finish is white nitrocellulose lacquer with silver sparkle binding. Made in Japan.
The neck is a three-piece maple/walnut/maple construction with an ebony fingerboard, a 25.5" scale length, and a 1.71" nut width. The board has a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets plus a zero fret, and pearloid big block position inlays. The truss rod cover and output jack plate are chrome-plated, with Duffy's signature on the truss rod cover.
Custom Wound Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups
Both neck and bridge positions carry custom wound Black Top Filter'Tron humbucking pickups, mounted in three-point adjustable '70s-style metal bezels. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume, '70s-style aluminum G-Arrow knobs, and a 3-position pickup toggle. No pickguard.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is chrome throughout. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B6CW with wire handle, paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned '70s-style ebony base. Tuners are Grover Imperial with butter-bean buttons. The headstock is a V-shaped Falcon profile. Comes with a premium gray speckled Billy Duffy hardshell case.
