Here we have a Limited Edition Quilt Classic Falcon from Gretsch! This Professional Collection model features a Forge Glow nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
Specs include a laminated quilt maple body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, Grover Imperial tuners, Space Control bridge, pinned ebony base, Bigsby B6GVT vibrato tailpiece, and bone nut. It has a 25.5” scale length with 12” radius, 1.6875” nut width, Neo-Classic Thumbnail inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets. The pickups are a set of TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter’Trons.
This is one of the coolest Gretsch limited runs we’ve seen! Clearly the quilted body and finish are stunning, but it’s also trimmed in ivoroid binding, and features a 2.75” deep body with 1959 trestle bracing. All of these little touches not only complement the look, but add up to one very nice playing and sounding instrument.

Pickups: A pair of TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter’Tron pickups gives this Falcon its voice. Individual neck and bridge volume controls, a master volume, and a three-position tone switch let you shape it from the guitar.
Bigsby Vibrato: The Bigsby B6GVT adds expressive pitch movement without taking over your playing. It’s paired with a Space Control bridge on a pinned ebony base.
Headstock and Tuners: A matching quilt maple headstock carries the body’s figured look through to the top of the guitar. Grover Imperial tuners complete the gold hardware.
Body and Finish: The 2.75-inch-deep laminated quilt maple body features 1959 trestle bracing. A gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish brings out the figuring in its Forge Glow color.
