Limited Edition Hollow Body Falcon in Nightbird Emerald
The G6136TG-58 is a limited edition Falcon built around a 2.75" deep laminated maple body with 1959 Trestle Bracing ā a construction method that uses internal bracing to control resonance and sustain in a fully hollow body. The finish is Nightbird Emerald, a dark metallic green applied over a nitrocellulose lacquer base. Made in Japan.
The neck is maple with a Standard āUā profile, set into the body, with a 25.5" scale length and a 1.6875" nut width. The ebony fingerboard has a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, Mother of Pearl neo-classic thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay side dots. The nut is bone.
TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Trons
Both neck and bridge positions carry TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter'Tron pickups, a design based on the original Filter'Tron developed by Ray Butts in the 1950s. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume, jeweled G-Arrow knobs, a 3-position pickup toggle, and a 3-position tone switch.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is gold throughout. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B6GP in a string-thru configuration, paired with a Space Control bridge with a pinned ebony base. Tuners are Grover Imperial. Body binding is gold sparkle with W/B/W/B purfling. The pickguard is gold plexi with a gold Gretsch logo and Falcon graphic. Comes with a G6241 Gretsch deluxe hardshell case.
