Description

The G6128T-89 Vintage Select '89 Duo Jet is part of Gretsch's Vintage Select Edition line, built around a late-'80s Duo Jet design. The chambered mahogany body with arched laminated maple top allows air to move between the top and body, contributing to the instrument's resonance and articulation. A maple set neck meets a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with pearloid Hump Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Pickups & Electronics

TV Jones TV Classic (neck) and TV Classic Plus (bridge) pickups bring a vintage Filter'Tron character to the instrument. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, master tone, and a three-way toggle switch.

Hardware & Appointments

The G6128T-89 is fitted with a Bigsby B3C vibrato tailpiece, Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned rosewood base, Gotoh die-cast tuners, and a bone nut. G-Arrow knobs, nickel hardware, and a silver plexi pickguard round out the look. The late-'80s black headstock carries the Gretsch logo and horseshoe inlay. Made in Japan.
