Cadillac Green Duo Jet with TV Jones T-Armond Pickups and Gold Hardware
The G6128T-57 Vintage Select '57 Duo Jet is part of Gretsch's Vintage Select Edition, a line built around the construction details of the late 1950s. This particular configuration references a limited run of Duo Jets produced in Cadillac Green with gold hardware ā a finish combination that saw very limited production in the original era. Made in Japan.
The body is chambered mahogany with an arched laminated maple top. The neck is mahogany with a Standard āUā profile and a rosewood fingerboard. Scale length is 24.6", nut width is 1.6875", and the board has a 12" radius with 22 medium jumbo frets and vintage pearloid hump-block position marker inlays.
TV Jones T-Armond Pickups
Both neck and bridge positions are loaded with TV Jones T-Armond pickups, a single-coil design based on the original DynaSonic that appeared on Gretsch guitars in the 1950s. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume, a master tone, G-Arrow knobs, and a 3-position pickup toggle.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is gold throughout. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B3CBDE paired with a Synchro-Sonic bridge. Tuners are Grover Sta-Tite die-cast. The pickguard is gold plexi with a black Gretsch logo, and body binding is aged white.
