Here we have a Gretsch G6128T-53 ’53 Duo Jet! This Vintage Select model features a Bigsby tailpiece.
Specs include an arched maple top, chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, block inlays, Sta-Tite tuners, and a compensated aluminum bridge. It’s loaded with a set of TV Jones T-Armond pickups. It also has cool early Jet features like the single ply white guard, script logo, and plain control knobs.
This one is lightly used and in very good shape. It has some faint topical scratches on the body, as well well a slightly heavier scratch on the top near the bridge pickup. There are other faint signs of use across the guitar, and some residue on the case from a sticker.
This one weighs 6lbs 14oz. The neck measures .820 to .950 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has their standard U neck, which has a medium depth and rounded feel. It’s a nice-playing guitar that is open and woody, with good mids and top end.
