Eddie Cochran Signature Hollow Body with Mixed Pickup Configuration
The G6120 Eddie Cochran Signature is a hollow body guitar built around the specific construction and modifications of the guitar Cochran used throughout his career. The body is a three-ply arched laminated maple construction with parallel bracing and double-bound F-holes, finished in Western Maple Stain. Body binding is white/black two-ply. Made in Japan.
The neck is a 2-piece maple construction with a rosewood fingerboard. The board has a 9.5" radius, 22 vintage small frets, and western-themed pearloid block inlays depicting cacti, steerheads, and fences. Scale length is 24.6", nut width is 1.6875", and the nut is polished brass. The headstock has single-ply binding.
Lindy Fralin Dog Ear & DynaSonic Pickups
This model uses a mixed pickup configuration: a Lindy Fralin “Dog Ear” single-coil in the neck position and a DynaSonic single-coil in the bridge position. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a single tone control, G-Arrow knobs, and a 3-position toggle switch.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is a combination of polished aluminum and gold-plated fittings. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B6CBVF vibrato, paired with a compensated aluminum bridge on a rosewood base. Tuners are Grover V98 Sta-Tite open-back. The pickguard is clear plexi with a Gretsch logo. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
