Here we have a Gretsch G5420TG Electromatic 135h Anniversary LTD electric guitar! This one sports a two tone Dark Cherry Metallic / Casino Gold finish and is in excellent condition.
This is a 16” wide guitar with an arched laminate maple body, maple neck, ebony board, thumbnail inlays, gold plexi guard and gold hardware. It has open gear coined edge tuners, a Bigsby B60 tailpiece, and dual black top Filter’Tron pickups. The scale length is 24.6”, the nut width is 1.6875”, and it has a 12” radius.
The original Adjusto-Matic bridge and has been swapped for a similar roller bridge, but the original is in the case. This guitar shows some light surface scratches and a little patina on the gold hardware, but is in great shape otherwise.
This one weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures .800 to .920 at the 1st and 12th frets. The guitar has their “U” neck which has a medium/slim carve. It plays easily and evenly up and down the neck. It has good acoustic resonance with a touch of natural reverb emanating from the body. We love the colorway and the black top pickups too.
Ships in a Gretsch hardshell case and includes the original bridge.
