Description

Here we have a great sounding vintage Gretsch Electromatic tube amplifier! This 50s tweed amp features a 12” Oxford speaker and 6L6 power. It has around 20 watts with two channels, a master tone control, and onboard tremolo. The instrument channel has three inputs, including a regular guitar, guitar/accordion, and a treble boosted guitar input. This channel has beautiful clean tones with good headroom. The microphone channel has a single input, which when used with a guitar produces a very fine saturated overdriven sound that any rock guitarist would be happy using. The amp has been serviced in the past and has an updated output transformer. It retains its original ungrounded 2 prong power cable and includes a footswitch for the tremolo. The amp has a big sound with plenty of bass and presence. One of the cooler vintage amps we’ve had in the shop.
