Figured Maple Center Block with Pro Twin Six Humbuckers
The Broadkaster Jr. LX Figured is a center block guitar built on a laminated figured maple body — arched top and back — with a redesigned Channel Core construction that combines maple and spruce within the block itself. The result is a semi-hollow platform that handles volume without feedback while retaining the resonance characteristics of the body wood. Made in Japan.
The neck is maple with a Standard “U” profile, set into the body, with a 24.6” scale length and a 1.6875” nut width. The ebony fingerboard has rolled edges, a 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid neo-classic thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay side dots. The headcap is Australian blackwood.
Pickups & Controls
Neck and bridge positions each carry a Pro Twin Six humbucking pickup. The control layout includes individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master no-load tone control with a “Squeezebox” capacitor. Pickup selection is handled by a 3-position toggle. Knobs are G-Arrow style.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is gold throughout. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B7GP in a string-thru configuration, paired with an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge. Tuners are Gotoh locking, and the nut is Graph Tech TUSQ XL. Grover strap locks are included. Body binding is aged white with B/W/B purfling. The pickguard is gold plexi with a gold Gretsch logo. Comes with a Gretsch deluxe hardshell case.
