Description
The Broadkaster Jr. LX is Gretsch's take on a semi-hollow built for high-volume playing. The body is laminated maple with a redesigned Channel Core center block — a combination of maple and spruce — which keeps feedback in check while contributing to the guitar's attack and midrange character. Made in Japan.
Pro Twin Six Humbuckers
Neck and bridge positions are loaded with Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups. The control layout gives you individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master no-load tone control with a "Squeezebox" capacitor. A three-position toggle handles pickup selection.
String-Thru Bigsby B7GP
The tailpiece is a Bigsby B7GP in a string-thru configuration, paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge. Gotoh locking tuners and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut round out the hardware. Gold finish throughout, including the gold plexi pickguard with Gretsch logo.
Neck & Fingerboard
Standard "U"-shaped maple neck with a 24.6" scale length. The ebony fingerboard has rolled edges, a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay side dots for low-light visibility.
Finished in Midnight Sapphire with aged white binding and B/W/B purfling. Includes the G6241JR Gretsch deluxe hardshell case.
