The Gretsch Broadkaster Jr. LX Center Block is a semi-hollow electric guitar built around a redesigned Channel Core center block — a combination of maple and spruce that tightens up the low end and adds midrange definition without sacrificing the resonance you'd expect from a Gretsch. It's a practical choice for players who want the character of a hollow body with the feedback resistance of a solid center.
Pickups & Electronics
The guitar is loaded with Pro Twin Six humbucking pickups at both the neck and bridge positions. Controls include individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master no-load tone control with a "Squeezebox" capacitor. Switching is handled by a three-position toggle.
Neck & Fingerboard
The standard "U"-shaped maple neck runs a 24.6" scale length and meets an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius, rolled edges, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay side dots for low-light visibility.
Hardware
A Bigsby B7GP string-thru vibrato tailpiece pairs with an Adjusto-Matic bridge for stable intonation. Gotoh locking tuners and Grover strap locks round out the gold hardware package. A Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut is fitted at the headstock. Includes the G6241JR Gretsch deluxe hardshell case.
