Product Description
Here we have a neat vintage Goya F-27 slot head acoustic guitar! This one is from around 1963 and has a 12-fret neck joint.
Specs include a spruce top, flame maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and rosewood bridge. It has a 1 7/8” nut width along with a 24 3/4” scale length. The body is 15 3/4” wide at the lower bout and has a depth of 4 7/8”.
This one has been well-played and shows light dents and scratches over its surface. There are a handful of cracks that have been glued up at various stages. There is some black material melted to the finish on the back of the guitar. The bridge looks like a replacement and there are dual white tape “guards” added to the top.
This one weighs 4lbs 2oz. The neck measures .790 to .870 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has a very flat fingerboard radius and a D shaped neck profile with a flat apex, similar to a classical guitar. The guitar sets up with medium action. The neck angle looks pretty good and the intonation is pretty close. The guitar has a nice, big sound with plenty of volume and a pure acoustic tone. It resounds well and has loads of sustain. It’s really a fun guitar that probably has some stories to tell.
Includes a hardshell case.
