Description
Here is a nice USA made GJ2 Hellhound in Antique White. This Grover Jackson Tele-style guitar is in good shape with a few modifications.
The pickups have been upgraded to Rio Grande including a Muy Grande bridge, Tall Boy middle, and Dirty Harry Jr neck. It also has an added Rolling B-Bender installed on the Wilkinson bridge, though the original saddle is included. The tuning machines are Hipshot. It has a 25.5" scale length with a 1.6875" nut width.
The guitar is in good shape overall with one notable chip to the finish located on the edge of the body behind the bridge. There are plenty of pick marks and surface swirls on the guard, and other light signs of playing and use on the body. The frets are in good shape and the neck looks quite clean.
This one plays really well. It's resonant and lively with a nice twang. It has a familiar Tele vibe about it, though with a wider nut, very flat radius and big frets. Ships in a Road Runner hardshell case.
