Description
Here we have a 2013 Gibson Warren Haynes '61 ES-335! This Memphis-built semi-hollow is in excellent condition and numbered 106 of 500.
Features include a maple body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has dual Burstbucker pickups, an ABR-1 bridge and stop tailpiece. These guitars also featured lightweight necks and lightweight center blocks for added resonance, and to more closely replicate Warren's original Big Red.
This guitar appears to have been case kept most of the time. The hardware shows oxidation and there are light signs of playing and handling. Some of the fret ends have cracked the binding lightly and there are some light topical scratches on the finish. It mostly looks like a VOS guitar though.
It weighs 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .840 to .920 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slimmer C shaped neck, though the apex is still round, it doesn't flatten out. It has classic Gibson ES tone off the body. It has good warmth and clarity though without sounding too bright or brittle. It plays nicely up and down the neck.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the warranty card. There is no COA included.
