Here is a beautiful Gibson ES-335 Figured from 2016. This cherry finish guitar was built in Memphis, TN towards the end of existence of that manufacturing facility.

This guitar is in excellent condition overall. It's glossy and clean with a few light surface swirls and marks from handling and polishing. The nickel hardware shows light oxidation. There are a couple light pick marks detectable as well, but ultimately this one looks to be a case queen that has been very well maintained.

The 2016 spec includes a highly figured maple top and back, Burstbucker pickups, Milk Bottle Grover Tuners, a proper no-wire ABR-1 bridge, and block inlays. The guitar is also stained black on the interior which gives it a really finished look.

This one weighs 7lbs 15oz. The neck for this year was a "redesigned" profile with rolled fingerboard edges. It measures .835 to .985 at the 1st and 12th. It's a traditional ES neck, a touch more vintage than some of the modern slimmer / flatter necks. It has a D shape to it, not quite flat at the apex, but with more shoulder, especially up high. The guitar is very loud and resonant acoustically. It navigates easily and is quite dynamic under the picking hand. It's on par with other Custom Shop builds though not specifically a historic model.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA and paperwork.
