Here we have a very nice 2015 Gibson '59 ES-330TD Figured VOS in Vintage Burst! This Memphis build is in excellent condition.
Specs include a hollow maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard and dot inlays. It has a trapeze tailpiece with an ABR-1 bridge and Deluxe tuners with white buttons. The guitar is a dual pickup model with two dogear P-90s.
It is in excellent condition overall. Being a VOS guitar it had some light patina on the metal parts and finish from the factory. It has light pick marks on the guard as well as a few faint pinpoint dings and topical scratches. Two of the knobs show cracks internally. There has been an extra set of wheels added to the bridge posts. The guitar is set up with flatwounds and the frets show faint wear down low.
This one weighs 6lbs 7oz. The neck measures .915 to 1.020 at the 1st and 10th frets. It has a large rounded C neck with a decent shoulder. It's one of the larger profiles we've had from Gibson, though not obscene. The guitar has excellent resonance and good acoustic quality. The flatwound strings offer warm and mellow mid-range tones with nice color. The top end still has good clarity and a touch of sparkle. The guitar can be set up with roundwound strings prior to shipping if preferred.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA page. There is no COA booklet, hang tag or other paperwork included.
