Description
Here is a cool, well-played 2006 Les Paul Studio! This wine red guitar is in good condition overall, all original without any breaks, but with some notable player wear.
The Studio is Gibson USA's bare bones Les Paul that features a mahogany body, mahogany neck, maple top, and rosewood fretboard. The top and neck are unbound. The hardware is chrome with a Nashville bridge and dual humbuckers.
This one has a decent amount of buckle wear over the back of the body, along with a number of dings on the body. There is a notable paint chip on the lower edge of the top, along with scratches on the finish, guard, and pick up covers. The back of the neck feels clean, and beyond a small paint chip at the corner, the headstock looks clean. The frets have a hint of wear, but really nothing that affects playability.
This one weighs 9lbs 3oz. The neck measures .855 to 1.020 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped neck with a full shoulder. It could also be called a full C that hints at flattening out at the apex. It feels somewhere between a modern 50s and 60s carve. The guitar sounds really good. It's warm, woody, and punchy off the body. Easy to play under the picking hand. Clearly someone gigged with this a bunch! The top looks nice with the subtle flame under the transparent finish too.
Ships in the original Gibson USA triangle gig bag.
