Here we have a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Double Cut in Midnight Manhattan. This one has a headstock repair but is in very good condition otherwise.

Specs include a flame maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets and trapezoid inlays. It has Grover tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge and dual humbuckers. There is a single volume & tone control layout with a 3-way toggle.

The headstock looks to have suffered a minor break that was professionally repaired. There is a subtle crack line visible at the neck/headstock transition, along with an area closer to the tuners that looks like finish run. The entire neck looks to be over sprayed for a consistent look and feel. The finish work is on par with factory nitro. Beyond this, it has light topical wear, some minor faint dings and patina on the hardware. The original Midnight blue has aged subtly to a green hue.

This guitar weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures.780 to .920 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a 60 slim taper carve that fills out just a bit near the neck heel. As far as headstock breaks go, this one is best case scenario with a super-pro repair that leaves all worries behind. The guitar plays great with plenty of resonance and mojo.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the truss rod tool and paperwork.
