Product Description

Here we have a very cool Les Paul Standard from 1992. This ebony finish model looks great and plays great!

This one seems to have been mostly case-kept all these years. There are no real dents or chips in the finish. The surface has light scratches and marks over it, with a few minor dings or impressions to be found. The finish has a subtle patina about it, reminding us a little of a VOS guitar. The patina is a bit inconsistent though with some areas and patches more oxidized than others. It has been kept in a basement however and the guitar has an old guitar musk about it.

The pickups have been changed to DiMarzios. The bridge is a black DP156 Humbucker from Hell, and the neck is a white DP103 PAF. The original pickups are no longer with the guitar.

Tonally, this one sounds fantastic. It really growls acoustically when you dig in. It's loud, clear, resonant and dynamic. It really plays effortlessly. It weighs 9lbs 10oz and is well balanced. The neck measures .820 to .975 at the 1st and 12th.

A great player from a good era for this model. Ships in an earlier 70s Les Paul case that is in ok condition with stickers on the outside.
