Product Description
Here we have a cool 1989 Les Paul Standard from Gibson! This guitar is in good shape overall with some player wear and signs of age.
Specs include a maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. It has a Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge, deluxe tuners and a stop tailpiece. It's loaded with dual humbuckers and has a cream guard plus gold speed knobs.
This one has been well-played which is probably to be expected for its age. It has a number of dings and scratches over its entire surface. There are paint chips on the back edge of the body as well as the back edge of the headstock. There is light buckle wear on the back and pick wear on the top. The guard is cracked at the mounting hole. The back of the neck has light dings and marks on it as well. The frets look to have been leveled before.
This one weighs 9lbs 8oz. The neck measures .810 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. It has a medium C neck, not quite a slim taper, but closer to that than a 50s neck. The guitar plays well with a nice response under the picking hand. The neck feels good and the guitar is easy to bend on. It has a warm mid-range tone off of the body with good treble from the top end.
Ships in a Gibson USA brown and pink hardshell case.
