Here we have a well-preserved Junior from 1960. This double cut version is in very good condition overall with a vibrant cherry red finish that is unfaded. The guitar appears to have been stored for most of its life as the hardware and parts shine like new. The finish is glossy-new in a way, but the guitar does show buckle wear and long faint scratches on its surface. It looks like someone gigged the guitar a handful of times, but then just put it away forever.

The Jr doesn't need much introduction. Effectively a student model, it's one of the more useful and fun vintage guitars available, still accessible price-wise, and loads of fun to play. The slab mahogany body and mahogany neck paired with a screaming P-90 pair perfectly with an overdriven amp for pure rock tones.

This 1960 model is serial number 0 8372 ink-stamped onto the back of the headstock. Built right alongside Bursts, this guitar carries the slimmer neck profile like other Gibson solid bodies of the time. It measures .825 at the 1st and .890 at the 12th. It is a C shaped neck that is subtly flat down low and just rounds out a touch in the higher register. It weighs in at 6 lbs 14oz. It's resonant and lively with nice clarity, and it growls when you dig into the strings. The frets are in great shape as well.

While not a mint guitar, this one checks all the boxes. You won't be worried about gigging it with the existing wear, but otherwise it presents as a fine, clean example. Ships in the original alligator case.
