Here we have a very nice Gibson USA Les Paul Double Cutaway Lite from 1999! This one sports a Trans Amber finish with gold hardware.
Features include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, maple top, and rosewood fretboard. It's a thin body guitar with a carved top and a body bevel on the back. It has 24 frets, Grover tuners, and a large headstock.
The guitar is in very good shape for being 25 years old. There is some light oxidation on the gold parts, and there are a few light scratches. The back shows a few faint dings and worming impressions from being played with a strap. Mostly the finish shines like new however. The frets are in excellent condition. The strap buttons have been changed to Schallers.
The guitar weighs 6lbs 15oz. The neck measures .830 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. It's a modern C shape neck with a quite familiar Gibson feel. With the double cutaway neck joint, you can access the top of the register quite easily. The guitar is lively and resonant. It has a tight and focused attack with plenty of clarity. Plays quite easily in all regards, truly a fun build and excellent player.
