Here is an awesome Gibson Invader combo amplifier! This vintage amp is from 1961 and features both a 12” and an 8” Jensen speaker. It’s a 6V6 amp with around 16 watts. It has two channels, two inputs per channel, a single tone control, and a “reverberation” control. From the factory, the reverb functions on channel 2 only, but interestingly you can turn the volume of channel 2 down to zero, crank the reverb control, and get just the wet reverb sound. This amp shows some wear and discoloration, and the Gibson logo is broken off. The 8” speaker looks to be a slightly later than the production of the amp. It has seen maintenance over the years and has a modern 3 prong power cable. It has the hard-wired footswitch cradled in the back. A really neat and great sounding amp, don’t sleep on this model!
