Here we have a vintage Gibson ES-335 from 1976. This one plays very well but has some issues worth noting.
The finish on the guitar is pretty sweaty overall. The back may have been exposed to fire at some point, or has reacted damaticaly to something it was laying on. Additionally the neck heel looks to have been cracked and repaired on the treble side. The bass side of the neck heel looks fine and it doesn't appear the neck was off of the body. There is no interior label. Beyond this the guitar doesn't appear to have any cracks, other repairs, or issues. The hardware and electronics look original.
The guitar sets up very well and plays wonderfully. The bass side of the neck has a touch of bow in it while the treble side is a bit more straight. The original frets show faint wear but they sound out nicely.
This one weighs 8lbs 2oz. The neck measures .845 to 1.085 at the 1st and 12th. It has a 1 9/16" nut width. The neck is a full round C that fattens somewhat dramatically up the register. It's quite a comfortable neck to play with a larger shoulder up near the body. The guitar feels slinky and dynamic. It's easy under the picking hand and has a classic resonant ES tone.
