Product Description
Here we have a vintage Gibson EB-4L bass guitar! This one features a long 34.5” scale length and is in good condition overall.
Specs include a mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets, open gear tuners, and adjustable saddle bridge. It has a single humbucker pickup with a 3-way voice control switch that offers natural, bass boost, and brilliant tonal options.
This one shows light dings and scratches over its surface with some lager paint chips on the back of the neck. It has a nice patina about the finish and hardware too. The top hue has faded a bit to a walnut/cherry color while the back is a bit more vibrant cherry. The frets show some light wear but play fine.
This bass weighs 9lbs 3oz. The neck measures .840 to .990 at the 1st and 12th frets. The neck has a bit of shoulder that quickly turns into an oval C back feel. It’s well balanced and plays nicely up and down the register. It’s a cool full-scale (and then some!) bass with nice tonal options.
Ships in the original hardshell case.
