Here we have a Gibson Custom Shop SG Standard “Bohemian” model in Sage, previously owned by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco!
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. It has a long neck tenon with hot hide glue construction, Grover tuners and an ABR-1 bridge. The pickups are a set of Super ’74 humbuckers.
The guitar is in excellent condition. It shows some light signs of use and topical marks but no real dents or damage. There is tape from Jeff’s ownership on the back of the headstock with the number 1 on it. The case has a correlating piece of tape marked with the number 1 as well as his original labeling.
This one weighs in at 6lbs 8oz. The neck measures .820 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slimmer 60s rounded C neck profile. The guitar is slinky and resonant, and super easy to play. It has a warm mid-range tone off of the body with good top end clarity.
It includes the original hardshell case, COA, hang tags, warranty card, and a letter of provenance from the previous retailer.
