Description
Here we have a very nice 2024 Gibson Custom Shop J-45 Custom! This ebony finished Bozeman-built guitar is in very good condition.
Specs include a mahogany body, sitka spruce to, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard. It has a pointed fingerboard extension with block inlays, and the neck is set with hot hide glue. It has a traditional bell-up ebony bridge with factory brass saddles, Grover tuners and multi-ply top, back and headstock binding. It also comes factory with LR Baggs Session VTC electronics.
This guitar has been lightly played and shows light pick marks on the guard. It has faint surface scratches from polishing as well as other light signs of handling. There are no dents or damage however.
The guitar weighs in right at 5lbs. The neck measures .930 to .990 at the 1st and 9th frets. Though Gibson bills this model as having a slim taper profile, this one has a rounded, full C neck that is more '50s in profile and feels great. Tonally this one is well-balanced with classic J-45 tone. It's resonant with nice harmonic overtones. Overall a well-built and great sounding example.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, checklist, polish cloth, keychain, truss rod tool, and other paperwork.
