Here we have a nice Gibson Custom Shop CS-356 Stoptail in Ebony! This semi-hollow guitar is in very good condition and plays great.
This model features a tonally carved body where the back, sides and center block are milled from one solid piece of mahogany. It has a maple top, mahogany neck and ebony fretboard with block inlays. The guitar is loaded with a set of '57 Classic pickups.
It is in very good shape with some light signs of use. There is wear around the neck strap button from a strap with a little paint chip visible. There is also light wear and scuffing around the end pin, also from a strap. There are a few faint dings on the body and light surface marks. The gold plating on the bridge pickup and stoptail show light wear as well.
This one weighs in at 7lbs 5oz. The neck measures .820 to .930 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped neck that is almost flat at the apex, with a nice round shoulder. The guitar is very loud and resonant with great sustain. It has a percussive mid-range acoustic sound that translates well through the pickups. It plays easily up and down the neck.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tag, and warranty card.
