Here we have a sleek Gibson Custom Shop CS-356 in ebony! This semi-hollow guitar is in wonderful shape and looks awesome in its black finish. It's one of our favorite Custom Shop models.
These guitars feature a tonally carved body where the back, sides and center block are milled from one piece of mahogany. It has a maple top, mahogany neck, and ebony board. This one has a gloss black finish, '57 Classic pickups, and standard gold plated hardware.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures .830 to .935 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped neck that is almost (but not quite) flat at the apex, with a nice round shoulder. The guitar is very loud and resonant with great sustain. It has a percussive mid-range acoustic sound that translates well through the pickups. Plays easily up and down the neck.
The guitar is in excellent shape and appears to have been case kept. There are faint signs of handling but no real player wear. Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tag, and warranty info.
