Here we have a great-playing Gibson Custom Shop '67 Flying V! This 2016 model features a stop tailpiece and a vintage sunburst finish.

Spec include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has Deluxe tuners, an ABR-1 bridge, and a stop tailpiece, as opposed to the more ubiquitous vibrola reissue. We like the no-frills unbound neck, simple dot inlays, and the controls mounted to the guard.

This guitar is in very good condition, though it has a couple minor finish issues to note. The tip of the back of the headstock shows a small paint touch up, presumably from a chip. There is also a long scratch on the bass side neck joint that appears to be touched up. The guitar has not been broken, and otherwise it appears quite clean and original.

This one weighs 6lbs 11oz. The neck measures .880 to 1.005 at the 1st and 10th. It has a very comfortable rounded C profile without too much shoulder. The guitar is lightweight and well-balanced. It plays effortlessly up and down the neck and is quite easy to bend on. It has a warm, mellow, mahogany punch off the body with crisp top end clarity. Overall a great player.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, warranty card, care guide, and hang tag.
