Here we have a beautiful '59 ES-335 from Gibson Custom Shop! This is a 2007 build that is in wonderful condition.

Specs include a maple body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has dot inlays, a crown headstock inlay, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and an ABR-1 bridge. This is a gloss finish guitar with a long guard, bumblebee caps, and other historic appointments.

This one has been well-cared for. In many ways it looks glossy new from the factory. It does show light play wear on the pickguard and light oxidation on the metal parts. There are a couple faint scratches on the back of the headstock, and some light handling marks on the face of the headstock from handling. The neck binding shows a hint of red bleed which is common on Custom Shop guitars.

It weighs 8lbs 8oz. The neck measures .900 to 1.020 at the 1st and 12th. The carve is full and round, reminiscent of a vintage shape, but also comfortable to play. It's consistent in size with other '59 Reissues of the era. It plays great up and down the register and bends easily. It's quite resonant with plenty of sustain. Notes move through the body easily with a touch of natural reverb. Overall a wonderful example just waiting to be played.
