Semi hollow Used Electric Guitar
with Maple Body, Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fretboard, Dot Inlays, Dual '57 Classic Humbucker Pickups - Beale Street Blue Finish
Product Description
Here is a very cool '59 ES-335 in Beale Street Blue! This is from a 2002 Gibson Custom Shop run.
The guitar features historic specs including a maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard and dot inlays. It has Kluson Deluxe tuners, an ABR-1 bridge, and stop tailpiece. It's loaded with dual '57 Classic humbucker pickups.
The guitar is in very good shape. It has clearly been played but well cared for. It has some light scratches and topical wear over its surface, along with a few minor nicks and deeper marks. There are no major dents or exposed wood. The guard shows light play wear and the metal parts show light oxidation. It appears the stop tailpiece is non-original.
This one weighs 8lbs 5oz. The neck measures .910 to 1.010 at the 1st and 12th. It has a full carve that fattens as you move up the register. Tonally this one has everything going for it. It has a nice warm and creamy mid-range but with crisp, clear highs. It plays effortlessly in all positions and feels nice under the picking hand. Traditional ES tone beyond that.
Ships in the original Custom Art Historic case and includes the truss rod tool.
