From Gibson Custom Shop comes this 2021 '57 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback. This Standard is in excellent condition, and appears unplayed.
The guitar weighs 8lbs 15oz. The neck measures .930 at the 1st and 1.020 at the 12th. It's a full '50s profile with a nice shoulder. The guitar plays comfortably and the weight is balanced. It has nice clarity and resonance with a woody punch off the body and some percussive high mids.
The color of this one is a touch more 'green' in person than some Goldtops we've seen. The Darkback is also a bit more transparent and lighter in hue than some of the darker near opaque ones out there. The finish is nearly full gloss without much VOS about it, however the hardware appears to be normal VOS.
This is an excellent-playing guitar, a time capsule from a few years ago. Ships in the original case and includes the COA, hang tags, backplate, amber switch tip, and paperwork.
