Here we have a Gibson Custom Shop ’57 Les Paul Junior VOS! This Demo shop model is in very good shape overall.
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and single ply black guard. It has vintage style strip tuners with white buttons, as well as a wraparound tailpiece for the bridge. It’s loaded with a single P-90 pickup.
The guitar is stamped Demo on the back of the headstock from the factory. Their documentation lists thin lacquer in various areas, uneven finish around the nut, and scuffs/scratches on the headstock face. This one also has a checking line at the headstock transition, a faint ding on the back of the neck at the 4th fret, and other light signs of playing. The finish notes on their sheet are accurate, but nothing that prevents this one from being a player if you don’t mind the inconsistency.
It weighs 8lbs 4oz. The neck measures .900 to 1.010 at the 1st and 12th frets. It ha a full 50s neck with a medium shoulder and an elliptical apex. The guitar rips as most Juniors do! It’s dynamic and resonant with a strong pickup.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the paperwork shown in the photos.
