Here is a really great Gibson Custom Shop model: the 50th Anniversary Korina Tribute! This Les Paul is from a limited run in 2008 and features a split headstock.

The guitar has a korina body, korina top, and korina neck. The fretboard is rosewood, unbound, with dot inlays. It has Kluson Deluxe tuners, a stop tailpiece, and an ABR-1 bridge. It's loaded with 3 humbuckers and has the Switchmaster selector which gives you each pickup individually or all three at once. The guitar has three volumes and one master tone. Set to All, you can use the independent volumes to dial in each pickup, a super useful wiring setup.

The guitar is in excellent condition. It's a VOS model so it had some light patina new from the factory. The gold parts look a bit more oxidized now and there are some light signs of play. There is no major damage or dents however. This one has been cared for and case-kept.

It weighs in at 8lbs 7oz. The neck measures .925 to 1.020 at the 1st and 10th. It's a deep, round profile similar to other '58 Korina builds from the early 2000s. It's comfortable to play and well-balanced. The guitar sounds fantastic. The korina offers a nice mid-range bite with tons of clarity. It has good articulation and overtones, and it sustains for days. One of our favorite Custom Shop models from over the decades!
