Here we have a great-sounding Gibson Custom Shop 1961 Les Paul SG Standard! This one is from 2023 and in very good condition.
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. It has trapezoid inlays, Deluxe tuners with pearloid buttons, an ABR-1 bridge and a stop tailpiece. The guitar comes loaded with a set of Custombucker pickups.
This one is in very good shape overall. It has a few small faint dings near the input jack. There is a small scuff or impression near the bass side of the ABR-1, and there are light pick marks on the guard. This one looks to have been played a little bit, but mostly it's like new from the factory with a nice VOS patina.
It weighs in at 6lbs 5oz. The neck measures .840 to .920 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slimmer C neck profile that is almost flat at the apex. It's quite consistent in depth most of the way up and feels like you'd expect for this reissue year. It has a great sound with brighter mids, plenty of clarity, and nice color. It's resonant with plenty of sustain, exactly what you'd hope to find in a Custom Shop Reissue instrument!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tags, checklist and other paperwork.
