Here we have a fantastic Gibson Custom Shop CME Spec '61 ES-335! This Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging guitar is finished in antique ebony and is in excellent condition.
Specs include a maple body, mahogany neck, maple center block and rosewood fretboard. It has dot inlays, an ABR-1 bridge, stop tailpiece, and nickel hardware. The CME Spec calls for Gibson Custom "S" Bucker pickups with Black Cat caps and vintage taper pots. The entire guitar has been masterfully aged by Murphy Lab as well.
The guitar is in excellent shape. It looks to have been played lightly with some pick marks on the guard. The wear and tear all appears to be Murphy aging however.
This one weighs 7lbs 13oz. The neck measures .830 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slimmer C shaped neck without much shoulder that is rounded at the apex. It thickens subtly up and the register and feels good. The guitar is loud, lively and resonant acoustically. The pickups are smooth with nice clarity and color. It really plays great and just leaves nothing to be desired.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tags, checklist and other paperwork.
