Here we have a very cool Gibson Custom Shop ’59 ES-335 VOS with a wraparound tailpiece bridge! This guitar is in excellent condition overall.
Other specs include a semi-hollow maple body with center block, mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. It has dot inlays, Deluxe tuners, 22 frets and medium jumbo fret wire. It’s loaded with a set of Custombucker pickups.
The guitar is in great shape with light pick marks on the guard. There are also a couple long, faint topical scratches on the back, mostly visible when the light catches. It’s a VOS guitar so the finish and hardware already show a patina from the factory. It looks like it has spent most of the time in the case and presents like new in most regards.
This one weighs 7lbs 14oz. The neck measures .870 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. It has a C neck profile with a medium shoulder, but not too much depth. If you’ve ever owned or love a Junior, we think you’ll dig this one. It has a dynamic feel under the right hand with plenty or resonance and sustain throughout the body. The guitar plays wonderfully up and down the neck and is a real rock ’n roll machine.
