Product Description
Here we have a nice 2002 Gibson Custom Shop '59 ES-335 Reissue! This one sports a Beale Street Blue finish and is in very good condition.
Specs include a maple body with center block, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. It has Deluxe tuners, a black guard and '57 Classic pickups. The bridge and tailpiece are changed to Faber parts including a no-wire bridge with natural brass saddles.
The guitar is in very good shape overall. It has a few topical scratches on the back, one on the treble side of the body and a few on the headstock. Most of them are faint but a few are impressed lightly into the wood. There are light signs of play and handling across the instrument, along with light pick marks on the guard, but no major dents or damage.
This one weighs 8lbs 4oz. The neck measures .880 to .995 at the 1st and 12th. It has a full, rounded carve with a medium shoulder, much like many early 2000s Historic models had. This one plays quite well with good acoustic volume and resonance. It has warmer mids with colorful overtones, but still that brighter ES-335 attack.
Ships in the original hardshell case. There is no COA or paperwork included, nor are the original bridge or tailpiece included.
