Product Description

Here we have a very cool 2017 PSL guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop! This '58 Les Paul Reissue was done in an Abilene Sunset Burst gloss finish. This color was originally crafted for the Lee Roy Parnell signature model, but used on this custom order pre-sold limited run.

The guitar is in great condition overall. It has a few small dings and chips on the edges, along with some pick marks and light surface scratches. The hardware also shows some oxidation, not dissimilar to a VOS guitar, but the finish itself appears to be factory gloss. The binding, especially on the neck, shows some red dye bleed which is fairly common around this era.

The guitar weighs 9lbs 1oz. The neck measures .895 to .995 at the 1st and 12th. It has a nice woody sound, a little mellow, but clear. It has nice resonance, but a bit more focused string attack than others we've had. It's well balanced, and has a fantastic look with a touch of figuring to the maple top.

The guitar ships in the original case and includes the COA, hangtags, extra toggle switch plate, and other paperwork.
