Here is a very nice '58 Les Paul in a Gloss Bourbon Burst finish! This Gibson Custom Shop guitar is in very good condition and has a lightly figured top.
Specs include mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and maple top. It's loaded with a set of Custombucker humbucking pickups. It has a gloss finish as opposed to the more ubiquitous VOS, along with bright, clean hardware.
The guitar looks factory new in most ways, but does have some light play wear. There is a notable scratch with a couple small dings on the back of the body. There are a few very faint dings and marks on the back of the neck and headstock that aren't really noticeable while playing. There are a couple light dings on the top, including a few concentrated at the edge behind the tailpiece. There is also some light red dye binding bleed which is common. Otherwise the guitar almost looks new. It seems like it was used on a gig or two then just put away.
It weighs in at 8lbs 8oz. The neck measures .930 to 1.050 at the 1st and 12th. It's well balanced and a nice weight. It has warmth and clarity with plenty of sustain. It is loud acoustically with some natural reverb within the body. It plays easy up and down the neck and feels good under the picking hand.
Includes the original hardshell case, COA, warranty card, and hand tags.
