2005 Gibson Custom Shop '56 Les Paul Standard Reissue Goldtop

Serial number 65179

Currently set up with EXL110 D'Addario string, 10-46 gauge. Action set nice and low at 1mm at the 12th fret on the high E and 1.5mm on the low E. Neck in the nice and full goldtop profile that we've all come to know and love, measuring at .94" at the first fret to 1.01" at the twelfth fret. Emerson wiring harness installed, with CTS pots and the Emerson Bumblebee caps. 9lbs 8oz.

In good condition, with a pleasing amount of wear for a historic reissue instrument. Dings and nicks scattered nicely across the top, one on the edge of the neck pickup route and a few around the controls. A fair amount of buckle rash and worming on the back, with a few dings as well. The most noticeable is a pea size dent near the control cavity, and there are three lines of natural lacquer checking on the bass side of the lower bout. The headstock is free of chips or wear along the edges, although the headstock veneer does have a fair amount of light scratches. The selector switch washer has a crack. The hardware is well tarnished in a way that nicely accentuates the vintage look of the guitar. In overall good shape, with enough natural wear to match the vibe of the guitar and so you won't have to worry too hard about playing out with the instrument.

Original case, ephemera, and COA included. The case is well worn also, with the bottom having a split where the end pin rests in the case. Still functions as it should
