Here we have a Celebrity Series 1960 Les Paul Classic from Gibson! This 1991 Limited Edition guitar is in good condition.
Specs include a maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. It has trapezoid inlays, Deluxe tuners, an ABR-1 bridge and a stop tailpiece. Gold hardware and white plastics complete the tuxedo look.
The guitar has a number of light dings and surface scratches over the body. There are pick marks, scuffs and other signs of playing too. The gold hardware shows light wear and age. There are a couple of dings down to the wood on the back of the neck and some wear around the headstock transition that appears to be from hanging on a hook. The neck binding shows tiny cracks from the fret ends. The knobs appear to be replacements.
The guitar weighs 9lbs 11oz. The neck measures .740 to .880 at the 1st and 12th. It has a quite slim oval C shape profile, a bit slimmer than a traditional 60 slim taper. The guitar is throaty and resonant with a slinky feel. It has excellent clarity and plays great.
Includes a hardshell case that appears to be from the era but likely not original.
