Dreadnought Used Acoustic Guitar
with Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, Large Tortoise Pickguard, Rosewood Bridge with Adjustable Saddle - Antique Natural Finish
Product Description
Here we have a beautiful J-50 from Gibson's Bozeman, MT facility. This '60's Original model is in excellent condition, and appears to be virtually unplayed.
The J-50 is a very familiar round-shoulder dreadnought, featuring a spruce top and mahogany body, but finished in natural lacquer. The wood set for this one is particularly good looking, as is traditionally the case for non-sunburst guitars. It also features a mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and adjustable saddle, just like you'd find in the 60s.
The guitar has a nice warm mid-range sound, with good bite and string clarity. It's quite dynamic and really opens up when pushed. This one will continue to sound better over time as it gets played too.
Overall an excellent condition piece, and a great addition to any flat top collector's stable. Ships in the original hardshell case.
