Product Description
Here we have a really interesting build from Denver Amp Works and FluxTone! This unit features an early 1960s vintage Univox chassis that has been slightly modded, paired with a modern cabinet and a set of FluxTone Model 14 speakers. The speakers have electro-magnets whose strength is controlled via a magnet knob, allowing you to overdrive the amp and still have a volume control. There is an added tone modifier switch near the input jacks that selects between high-Marshall, mid-Black Panel and low-Tweed sounds. The reverb circuit is upgraded to a magnetic-based tank and the chassis has been recapped. Otherwise, the Univox chassis is original. The cabinet is sprayed black by hand and the speakers are offset diagonally. It's about 25 watts with a pair of 6973s. The amp has a modern 3 prong power cable and appears to be in good functioning order. The exterior of the cabinet shows scratches and wear, but is in good shape overall.
