Description
Here we have a vintage 1965 Stratocaster neck with matching L series neck plate! The neck finish and logo appear to be original. The fingerboard has been planed to a 12” radius, and it is refretted with jumbo wire. The nut is missing, and it appears it had a Floyd Rose style nut installed at some point. There is now a piece of rosewood in place of the locking nut shelf to convert it back to non-locking. There is an added string tree and the tuners are a set of W German Schallers. The neck and L Series plate appear to be original to each other as do the mounting screws. The finish is well worn on the back of the neck, but the truss rod works and the neck is straight.
