This is a really nice 1993 Fender Japan TL-52 reissue Telecaster. This butterscotch blonde guitar is in very good condition with some upgraded electronics.

This guitar features an ash body and maple neck. It is a "Made In Japan" model with a neck date of 7-21-93. The guitar looks mostly original except for a set of Fender Custom Shop pickups and a newer 3-way switch. The frets show light wear down low but function correctly. There is a paint chip on the top horn edge, as well as one on the back body edge near the jack. There are a few other minor dings and light surface scratches, but the guitar has been well maintained overall it appears.

The guitar weighs 8lbs 6oz. The neck measures .900 to .990 at the 1st and 12th. It has a distinct V profile with a full shoulder and nice depth. The guitar is balanced in your lap and plays quite well. It has a bit less resonance throughout the body, but has great clarity and Tele twang otherwise.
