Fender Telecaster 1955 White Blonde

Solid body Vintage Electric Guitar - White Blonde Finish

Product Description

Here we have a vintage flatpole Tele from 1955 with an awesome patina. The guitar has a well-weathered look, with plenty of checking, a neck whose lacquer has darkened with aged, and hardware that is about as sweaty as you'll find. This guitar came out of Key West, so we think that salty ocean air and humid climate help create the look this instrument exudes.

The guitar is mostly original. There appears to be a couple of changed height adjust screws on the bass E and A string saddle, and the wiring is converted to modern. All of the other parts seem correct. The fingerboard shows quite a bit of wear and it looks like someone may have attempted some lacquer touch up long ago. The back of the neck, headstock, and body all appear to be original finish without any overspray.

The guitar plays nicely up and down the board with a dynamic string response under the picking hand. It's twangy with nice resonance. Overall a solid player. The pickups sound good, though the bridge output is maybe a touch weaker than we'd hope.

Overall a cool piece with an awesome look. Ships in the original knuckle buster tweed case with bridge cover.
