Here we have a very nice vintage 1970 Fender Stratocaster! This one sports a rosewood fingerboard and is in excellent condition.

Other specs include an alder body, maple neck, Fender “F” Tuners and a tremolo bridge. It has pearl dot inlays with the original fret wire, a multi-ply white guard, and a 4-bolt "F" neck plate. It’s loaded with three gray bottom single coil pickups and has a 3-way selector switch.

The guitar has survived quite well over the years and is in original condition. The body shows a number of light dings, mostly concentrated on the forearm contour, as well as some lightly across the upper edge of the back. There are also topical scratches and other light signs of handling, but no exposed wood or major wear. The neck is quite clean and the frets look to be in good shape. The pots date to the 2nd week of 1970 and the electronic components appear to be original.

This one weighs 7lbs 14oz. The neck measures .850 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. The neck has a medium C profile and feels very comfortable. The guitar plays nicely with a warm, plunky mid-range and crisp top end. It feels nice under the picking hand and the guitar is easy to bend on. It’s a very fine vintage example overall!

It includes the original hardshell case, tremolo arm, bridge cover, old Fender strings and the original hang tag with serial number.
